Questions we get asked

Which charger do I need for my home?

If you have a single-phase connection, the PowerPod Lite 7.4 kW adds roughly 40 to 45 km of range per hour and suits almost every EV sold in India. If you have a three-phase supply and a car that can take it, such as the Kia EV6, Ioniq 5 or BMW iX, the Lite 22 kW will fully charge it in under two hours.

What is the difference between Lite, Go and City?

Lite has no connectivity at all: RFID or plug-and-play, no WiFi, no OCPP, no backend. Go adds WiFi, 4G and OCPP 1.6J, so sessions can be tracked and billed. City is a dual-gun pedestal station for public car parks, charging two EVs at once with each gun metered separately.

Do you install the charger?

Installation is available as a paid add-on and is quoted per site, because the cost depends on cable run, supply and civil work. Any licensed electrician can also fit these units. Get in touch with your site details and we will quote.

Do you supply OEM, SKD or CKD?

Yes. We supply finished units under your brand, design to your specification, and ship SKD or CKD kits for partners assembling in their own market. See the OEM and ODM page or book a call with our engineering team.

Can I use these with my own billing platform?

Yes. Every connected charger speaks OCPP 1.6J, so it will pair with any OCPP-compliant central system, ours or a third party's. Nothing is locked to a proprietary backend.
