    Returns and warranty

    7-day returns if the charger is unused and in its original packaging. Every unit carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty from RIOD India. If it arrives damaged, email support@riod.in with your order number and photographs and we will replace or refund it.

    Questions about this charger

    Does a driver need an app to use this charger?

    No. The display shows a UPI QR code and any UPI app can pay it. There is no app to install, no account to open and no RFID card to collect.

    When does the host get the money?

    Session earnings are credited to the host within two days.

    What happens if a charging session fails?

    The driver is refunded.

    How is this different from the standard Lora EV 11/22 kW charger?

    The specification is the same. This model adds the display that shows the UPI QR code, so a driver can pay at the unit itself. It costs Rs 3,000 more than the standard model.

    Is it 11 kW or 22 kW?

    Either. The output is set to 11 kW or 22 kW at commissioning, so one unit covers both and the site can be matched to its sanctioned supply.

    What electricity supply does it need?

    A three phase supply. For a single phase supply, choose the Lora UPI EV 7.4 kW or 3.3 kW station.

    Will it work with my car?

    Yes, if your EV has a Type 2 inlet. The charger delivers up to 22 kW, and the actual rate is set by the vehicle's onboard charger.

    Does it work without an internet connection?

    Charging does. Community mode keeps sessions running when the connection drops, which matters in basement parking. A connection is needed to take a UPI payment and to send session records and remote monitoring data.

    Does it support OCPP?

    Yes, OCPP 1.6 over TLS. It pairs with any OCPP 1.6 platform, ours or a third party's, so nothing is locked to a proprietary backend.

    Can several chargers share one supply?

    Yes. Dynamic load management over Modbus balances the load across units so the sanctioned supply is never exceeded.

    Can it be installed outdoors?

    Yes. The enclosure is IP65 rated.

    What electrical protection is built in?

    Over voltage, under voltage, over current and earth leakage protection.

    Does it measure how much electricity is used?

    Yes. A Class 1 accuracy meter is built in, and an MID certified external meter is supported where billing grade measurement is required.

    Who installs it?

    What does the warranty cover?
